Introducing the Marstek Venus E, the off-grid capable battery that revolutionizes solar storage

We’re introducing the first of Intersolar 2025’s major new releases: the Marstek Venus E, a powerful and easy-to-use battery that offers a flexible energy solution for your home, even when the power goes out.

Store unused energy for when it matters

Thanks to its large storage capacity of over 5 kWh, plugin design, and smart meter compatibility, the Venus E stores all your unused solar production for later use.

Unlike other battery systems that require a direct connection to the solar panels, the Marstek Venus E simplifies everything. There's no need to modify your setup or add new wiring. If you already have a plugin solar kit, you can keep using it as usual, whether it's installed on your balcony, garden, or rooftop.

The battery connects to any standard power outlet in your home, regardless of location. You don’t need to connect your solar kit to the Venus E. Through the smart meter and mobile app, the system automatically detects when your solar kit is feeding energy into the grid and starts storing it in the battery. No manual setup is required.

The battery is also equipped with wheels, allowing you to move it between sockets. You can even install multiple batteries in different parts of your home or reposition it during a blackout.

Prepare for power outages with reliable off-grid backup

The Marstek Venus E is not only useful for daily savings, but also for emergencies. In the event of a power outage, you can access up to 5.12 kWh of stored energy to keep your home running.

With a maximum output of 2,500 W in off-grid mode, the Venus E can handle most essential devices in a home without interruption.

Unlike many backup batteries that are limited to 1,000 W output, this system allows you to power high-consumption appliances without restrictions. Here are a few realistic examples:

  • Refrigerator: approx. 100 W, can run for up to 48 hours
  • LED lighting: approx. 50 W
  • Router, laptop, and phone charging: approx. 100 W
  • Television: 150 to 200 W
  • Microwave, coffee maker, or washing machine (occasional use): 700 to 1,000 W
  • Combined or peak loads: up to 2,500 W without interruption

Thanks to this high output capacity, you can power multiple devices at the same time without worrying about overloading the system. You have full freedom to cover your real energy needs during a blackout, without compromising comfort or functionality.

Charge from the grid at the cheapest times

One of the most remarkable features of the Marstek Venus E is its ability to recharge directly from the grid when electricity prices are low, for example during the night. This stored energy can then be used during peak hours, when electricity is more expensive.

This means that even when there’s no sun, you can still save on your energy bill by taking advantage of off-peak tariffs. This makes the battery not just a self-consumption tool, but a smart way to reduce your overall energy costs.

Our solar kit Plus 2000: the perfect match

To take full advantage of the 5.12 kWh storage capacity of the Marstek Venus E, at Robinsun we recommend pairing it with our Plus 2000 solar kit.

Under ideal conditions, such as in southern Spain with good orientation and tilt, a 2000 W solar kit can generate around 7 kWh per day. This means the Marstek Venus E can be fully charged before the end of the day, often with surplus energy available for direct consumption.

This combination creates a robust, efficient home solar system that not only maximizes daily savings but also provides backup capacity for more demanding energy needs.

Warranty, quality, and peace of mind

The Marstek Venus E uses LiFePO₄ cell technology, known for its high safety standards and thermal stability. It offers a lifespan of over 6,000 cycles, equivalent to more than 15 years of daily use.

Backed by a 10-year warranty, this battery reflects Marstek’s strong reputation as a leading provider of energy storage solutions. With the Venus E, you’re investing in a product that is reliable, durable, and built to power the future.
